Vivek is a Partner based in the Bangalore office of Khaitan Legal Associates. He has a unique experience as a corporate lawyer, investor and startup co-founder and have worked globally in India, the US and Southeast Asia. Given his diversified exposure, he can commercially understand the client’s need and provide pragmatic solutions. He is focused on solutions-based approach and works along with the client’s general counsel and management.

Previously Vivek has worked with law firms in Mumbai, New York and Chicago and held leadership positions as in-house lawyer, with world’s largest beer company-Anheuser-Bush InBev and as a Global General Counsel for Locad, a cloud logistics company based in Southeast Asia. With over 13 years of experience, Vivek works in a wide range of practice areas such as commercial contracts, M&A, venture capital, employment, anti-corruption, due-diligence, procurement & supply chain and cross-border transactions.

He also co-founded WarehouseNow, a tech enabled logistics company. In addition to his reputation as a bold risk-taker and skilled strategist, Vivek has garnered recognition from prestigious organizations such as the Global Legal Forum and Legal500 under the General Counsel Power List. He’s a regular speaker at various global startup and legal forums.
Vivek is an alumnus of Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, U.S.A and ILS Law College, Pune.
